Wow, Briles is even more of a POS than I thought.
Occam's Razor definitely supports Petersen's side....first that he was kicked off of BSU and that Petersen would give Briles a heads up that the player is troubled.
A coach is already playing with fire when taking on a guy who was kicked off another program's team. Of course Briles is probably lying because if he did admit to receiving the details from Petersen, he could open the door to a lawsuit from the girl who was sexually assaulted...either him and / or Baylor and / or Baylor's football program.

I always admired the guy without digging too deep. He was coaching U of H when I was living down there and turned them into a damn good team. Then turned Baylor into a top10 team from basically being worse than Oregon State over the last 30 years. He also put in his time, coaching high school for damn near 25 years and moving up the ranks from there. Not selling software, to offensive coordinator to HC at age 30.
