Peters suspended for Illinois

Pretty upset about this. That's huge.

But not surprised I guess. Allah help our secondary.

Doogpound agrees with you.http://twitter.com/UWSBN/status/509066074164572161http://twitter.com/UWSBN/status/509066442038591488

So does this random hot chick on Twitterhttp://twitter.com/haeklund/status/509066747161636864

Um, haeklund? Um....eklund?

No way that could be his sister. No fucking way.

I LOVE that my prodigy instantly tried to think of people she could be related to, then I'm guessing he went onto facebook, found her, sent her a random message, and is already working a strategy to meet up with her.

Well done, sir. Well done.

If it is his sister, here is my plan:

1) Convince her to go out with me by using Splooge's art of wooing (he pm'ed it to me)
2) Unleash my two inches of thunder on her
3) Create doogman account with the name "Yoursistersquirts"
4) PM noodz of her taken with my trusty iPhone to Ektard
5) Profit

Abundance.

Am I missing something or did everyone else who was at the game miss this:

After the first (or 2nd, I forget) touchdown that UW scored, we were during a TV timeout and both teams were at their respective sidelines. There was literally no one on the field at the time. Peters, by himself, walked across the field and and started talking shit to EW's sideline. One of the refs came over and had to escort him back to UW's side, probably telling him to cool it. It was clearly visible to both coaching staffs.

Some reporter asked a question about "doing things the right way" and discipline, even if it hurts the team in the short term.

CP sharply answers back: "I think it helps the team."

Peters or no Peters, a home loss to a Big 10 bottomfeeder warrants a midfield handshake firing. As of right now, the Big 10 is ranked below Cal but just slightly above WSU.

Cal is now officially >>> WSU

Imagine the fallout from this blow uphttp://twitter.com/A_Jude/status/509075991373688832

Petersen was asked in his PC about his strategy for implementing his rules and philosophies to the team, he went on to say that it is about changing and ingraining new thinking into the players minds. They are trying to "build skill, even mental skill. And all these things take time".

Reporter followed up with, "You're OK with that even if it hurts the team short term?"

Petersen replied, "I think it helps the team, you might take a step backwards, but I think it really helps the team when you are doing things the right way".

Someone on twitter made a great point about Petersen versus Sark. They said that winning is not the goal but the byproduct for Petersen (it comes about through the process he implements). For Sark winning was the only goal. This shit is serious for Petersen, you can hear it in his voice.

We the the new stadium I wondered this myself. Why have the home team roasting in the sun on crisp 90 degree September games? With the students moved, this should be a no brainer. And why would anyone even care?

And it was the losers who had fog fans running in the shade, while the Dawgs sweltered in the heat. Part of Petersen's toughening process?

ok, suspending him for that (and probably a couple other instance we're not privy to) makes sense

I saw this too, surprised no one has mentioned it before. It was right before a kickoff.

When Peters got the penalty, the EWU player was actually more physical, and appeared more deserving or just as deserving of a penalty. Peters prob mouthed off to the coaches within range of their ears.
Playing in the Southside shade makes sense when it's 75 degrees+ in Aug-Sept, but playing on the northside in the sun is a way better advantage Oct-Dec, when it's freezing.
