Can you elaborate? We must have listened to a different podcast. Nowhere in that interview did it seem like both were lost for the season.
 
Two guys being separated from the team while a new coach installs a new system. That kind of lost season.

Reading way too much into it. Still have from now til the fall. Not like they are incapable of looking at their teammates playbooks.

Still have fall practices and still have four tune up games to get ready for Stanford.

Not at all a lost season.
 
Lindquist hasn't missed a minute of practice. You can't coach what String brings to the table. He has all summer and fall camp to get into sync with Lindquist.
