Peterman hates the 12s

Not sure I'd read too much into this this early, but the guy who has been expected for nearly two years to be the starter this season took first reps with the ones. GHHJAA, J (Great Hard-Hitting Journalism As Always, Jude).

Yeah that is spot on throat turd. Everyone's obviously getting a shot, but you can't ignore what Miles has already done last season. Pretty much what Cornell alluded to in his QB post: Miles has all the tools you want and looks poised in the pocket. I'm not really concerned about the kind of ball he throws, as you can get away with that in college. It was kind of brutal watching Miles play confidently against OSU on the road and then the next week in HS I'm watching 5th year senior Price struggle in the first half against a team we should have blown out.

Any halfbrain knew Miles was gonna run away from the "competition." 1st question should be where does Troy Williams transfer to?

Hopefully he doesn't go anywhere, cuz Miles will probably get into another fight with fucktard 12s after the Hawks repeat this year.

This. It's simple logic. Miles has been miles ahead of Lindquist since they got on campus. It wasn't Sark playing favorites, Miles was noticeably better. There hasn't been much, if any separation between Williams and Lindquist.

Dinks from doogman try and say Miles has a weak arm, but it's fine. He's poised, confident, and knows how to play QB. He came from a great high school that wins the championship almost every year in Colorado. Lindquist was busy playing hero ball at Mercer Island because they had no one else.

If anyone says that about Miles, counter them with this

And about the OSU game, everyone remembers we had Sankey, Cooper and Washington all surpass 140 yards rushing each, but Miles went 15/24 for 162 yards with 1 TD and 0 INTs.

You're completely avoiding the issue of Washington's fumbling problem.

Bingo. Petersen was just interviewed, and he laughed when asked about Miles taking reps with the 1s. He said, "you might see me out there taking reps with the 1s." Lindquist and Williams will also be taking reps with the 1s.

In other words, it means nothing, other than Jood can forget any notion that he got an early scoop on UW's starting QB.

From what I'm hearing, it's Lindquist followed by Williams. If you listen to what Peterman says, that should help answer some of the questions as opposed to the pro Miles guess around here. Details, reps, focus, details, details, details. Miles is way behind the other QB's and won't be winning a job based on being the number two behind teeth last season.

You obviously want Lindquist. Miles isn't start the first game so he's not going to name Miles the starter in August. It's probably not going to happen until the game Miles is actually starting. He will have to earn it, but he will start the majority of the games. Jonathon Smith said only 15% of the playbook is in at this point. Talking about how far he is behind is coach speak.

I will be very surprised if he isn't starting by September 27th. I'll be the first to admit I am wrong if he's not, but I have a couple friends who have watched multiple practices the past few years. I also know a player pretty well who had to medically retire before last season. Every single one has said Miles is better than Lindquist and it's really not close.

Miles is not as far behind as you think he is. He may have missed reps, but it's not like Peterman didn't allow him to look at a playbook until fall camp started. He's still the best QB on our roster. He was number two behind Keith for a reason, and he showed it when Keith was hurt.

this bored is very helpful in that regard

Miles is a gamer. I've been a fan since the army all-american game mvp. I see a guy who isn't afraid, makes plays, and expects to win(rip sark's slogan wall).

I don't give a shit if he has the Paus whirlwind throwing motion, he is our best chance at beating the elite teams in conference.

Sounds like a pussy. His opinion means nothing.
