Tru story: when I was a HS Sr. I won the rowing award for the local “Sportmans Club”. They put on an award ceremony where the winners for each sport were given their award and had to say a few words of thanks. Every single fucking one thanked the lord/god/Jesus. I got up and shoutout the former rowers I knew in the audience, my coaches and both my dads. CSB.

If only I had thanked my ancestors for DNA to make me tall and for making me slow strategy.

Agreed. When he first got the offer he was pretty blunt with both Roof and Ektard in saying he didn’t know anything about UW except John Ross is fast.
