Edit: For clarification, what Petersen means by TBS hype is what the other schools are doing to recruit kids with things. For example, when kids were saying they were gonna go to UW and "have fun", Petersen tells them that it's not fun, that they're going to work harder than they ever have in their life and that there is a tremendous price to pay for academics and football success (to achieve their goals and dreams).

Petersen wants to tell them "the truth", not garbage and hype.
