The perfect withdrawal from Afghanistan was the tipping point. Polls reflect that. We called that here in real time. People don’t really understand how economics work in reality. See @hhusky as an example.
People do understand an obvious failed military operation, it’s easy to see and understand and second guess in real time. Screw something like that up and try and lie about the failure and no one gives you the benefit of the doubt on the complicated stuff.
