Penn State fans have spoken!

His accomplishments are basically winning 1 B1G because of that one tOSU win off a blocked FG (in which they lost the Rose Bowl to Sam Darnold and also lost to Pitt in the same year), beating UW in the Fiesta and Utah in the Rose as the 3rd place B1G team.

He fits perfectly in at never being good enough but never bad enough to get fired.

You're risking getting rid of 10 wins a season for a guy who could do 12 or 8
Most coaches suck. Franklin technically doesn't suck but the fans have to be frustrated

So you're saying he's the Mike Bellotti of the Big 10

At some point, you gotta go for the 12. Otherwise, it's Marinerization.

Mark Richt is the real comp. Belotti isn’t a bad one but Mediocre Mike did build Oregon from nothing into less something.

At some point you gotta go for the 12.
Franklin and that team seem to be focused on bigger goals but we all know the way this ends is either in the CFP first round or, if they draw some weak team, in the round of 8 bowl game. It’s not a top 4 team.

Bellotti took over the Ducks the year after they went to the Rose Bowl
