Now that True Detective is over (thank god), check out this show on Netflix. It's a turn of the century Irish gangster drama with Cillian Murphy and Sam Neil. Just finished season 1 and it's pretty damn good. Soundtrack is goddamn amazing as well if you happen to have good taste in music (Nick Cave, Jack White, Tom Waits, etc.). Being British, it's a bit of a slow-burner so that guy who liked True Detective because of the cool gun fight at the end probably won't like it. Tom Hardy is in season 2 and I have a man-crush on him.

I give it 4 sweatpants tents out of 5

Watched the first 2 episodes a few months ago, I barely stayed awake. Scenes were just too vacant for me. Tom Hardy should be in every movie tho...;)

Anybody ever get into Orphan Black on BBC? It's one of the only shows on Amazon Prime in 4k. Though I must say, Prime is actually catching up to Netflix and doesn't get the attention they deserve.

It's cheaper and they share a lot of the same shows/movies. But on Prime, I can now watch every episode of Curb, Sopranos, Kenny Fucking Powers, 24, Entourage, The League, The Wire, Luck, Brotherhood, The Americans, Strike Back, Archer, Vikings, Sunny, Sons of Anarchy, Band of Brothers, The Pacific, Generation Kill, Boardwalk Empire, Rome, Oz, Deadwood, etc.

Amazon's interface and browse function on my TV is shit. Good shows but I can't find them.

Much prefer Netflix's.

All those HBO shows do have spectacular tits though. True Detective Season 2 really fucked up that formula.
