Peak Maryland football.

As someone who knows next to nothing about Maryland football, I posit that this moment is the absolute peak of their progrum (all time)…

4-0. Hot young qb and plenty of young talent. Up 20-0 over a recent natty finalist in front of a (🤣) sellout. Young man sacks Demond and does a very sexy dance.

Drink it in Terp fans. This is the top of the mountain right here.👇👇

In the second half the fans seemed to be more excited about Penn State losing than Maryland winning

Forgot about this. I'm wondering if the staff complained that they were doing obscene Val Venis dances out there and that prompted the refs to start calling it tight on the celebrations.

Peak Maryland football is:
The 1953 natty they claim (no idea on the legitimacy)
Their last ACC title, think 2001, under Ralph "the Fridge" Friedman
Anytime they are able to beat Penn State

Made me google their 1953. That was quite the era of college football with realignment.
Southern Conference - Wikipedia
I clearly care so much about east coast football history that I didn't know Bama/Georgia and Maryland were once in the same conference with like 20 members.
The schedule Maryland played in the first year of the ACC in 1953 was wild. Georgia, Miami, Ole Miss, Bama, and the George Washington Colonials Revolutionaries. Only 3 conference games in a 7 team conference.
Of all the schools which cycled through the Southern Conference over tim, which is every major school south of an imaginary line from Penn State to Arkansas (excluding FSU/Miami), Maryland is the only one which ended up in the Big 10.

People forget Bear Bryant’s first head coaching job was Maryland.
