Talk about a new talking point. What are you including in these 47 years of killing Americans. The embassy bombing in Beirut? That was 43 years ago. Beirut Marine Barracks? Also 43 years ago. Embassy Annex bombing? 42 years ago. Khobar Towers? 30 years ago. The word imminent has a meaning. Even in the MAGA alternate reality you can’t make the argument that there was an imminent threat.
