Patrice O’Neal on how football is changing

It's about money, not culture. What's happening to football is the same as what happened to MLB, the NBA, and NASCAR. Big corporations like nice, neat, clean things to spend their ad money on. If the world was filled with flavors, the big money would want everything to be plain vanilla.
