uh, no shit. at this point, you have to wonder if even Jumbo and Free Shoes aren't breathing a sigh of relief; Jamus has been a fucking handful.

that said, the kid is the physical package. might not be as nifty on his feet as Wilson, who's much quicker and elusive, but he can run and he's an ath-a-lete. And that throw on 3rd and 21 ... well, scouts saw it.

All my comments at the shit-show with Race aside, if someone can get that kid to grow up just a bit and focus, he could be a nice pro QB. But as it stands, even though Winston Sr. and Junior prayed on it, you gotta assume that dumb fuck + a regular NFL paycheck = even bigger hassle factor. if an NFL coach has to tell you, during a fucking game, to "settle the fuck down or you're taking the bench", you're not going to be long for that team. It's the No Fucking Around League, especially at that position.

We shall see.

Only concern is whether Jameis will follow the VY trajectory.... Heisman Runner up... NFL Rookie of the Year.... 5 4th quarter drives... to out of the league before his 2nd true contract.

Certainly more of an arm talent - but similar knucklehead off-the-field priorities.

He is going to be a high pick and tear shit up as long as he can stay on the field. The dude throws accurate lasers all over the place. He doesn't think too much (clearly) but that is an advantage for a guy who just goes with the instinct. He also can throw from the pocket, unlike vince young.

I just don't think a dumbass QB can beat NFL defenses, no matter how talented.

I might qualify the "accurate" part at least a little. I guess if we don't know what the routes are we don't always know whose fault a fucked up throw was, but I've seen him throw many, many "WTF" passes too where the receiver/route clearly were not in question. But yeah, he can get it there too.

Have to be able to think in the NFL, or they'll kill you. The guys who play long in the NFL are the QBs who learn how to manipulate, understand and make educated guesses about NFL defensive schemes. That takes some level of IQ. Maybe dummy has it in him when he's done fucking her in the pussy. I don't know, and really, nobody does. It's a gamble, no more and no less than it was a gamble drafting Jesus in the first round (for obviously different reasons).

If I had to take a wild ass guess, I'd say he probably has some kind of attention/impulse-control issue. It's not the kids who fuck up once or twice that concern me; I was no saint and I'm not a judgmental prude. But the ones who do it over and over and over, when they must know they're in the spot light, everyone's watching, there's a lot riding on not being a fuck up and yet they STILL go back to the fucking cookie jar. Those are the people you take a good hard long look at before investing millions and millions on them. But the NFL is a whore for physical talent and somebody will.

I don't even think Jameis is that good. His WR's made a ton of "Oh shit" catches in his Heisman year, especially Benjamin. This year he threw 17 picks.

Jameis is a great leader on the field. He can make people believe in him and rally around him even when he's in a hole. It didn't work against Oregon because Oregon played him skrong. However his leadership ability alone equals 2 to 3 extra wins for whatever team he ends up playing for.

Disagree. He took total command of a group of tough ass thugs and led them to a national championship. Then in his second season he took a weakened team of billy bad asses, held them together long enough to get to the playoffs and give them a chance to win it all again. Unfortunately for them they ran into the lethal, unstoppable, invincible machine that is Oregon. But the mother fucker is a player, and a leader. He'll have no problem leading a group of NFL punks.

The guy threw 28 TDs and 18 INTs this year. Red flags anyone? Besides, he's a nob. Wouldn't be shocked to see him go Len Bias on the team that drafts him - grab that big signing bonus and stick half of it up his nose. I've got him in my dead pool.
