The people they vote for actively work to make their constituents’ lives worse. It’s not even a passive thing. Rolling blackouts and water rationing in California are solely because of Dem policies, yet they keep voting for them to the point entire towns are wiped out by fore and the diehard cultists still defend them.
Mostly these stupid policies are allowed because the Dems have them believing that a few hours less of electricity or a few gallons less of water in their lives is going to lower global temperatures.
