Even if that were accurate, what is your point? That the "right" is standing up for Negro Bill Canyon, Redman Slough, and Coon Creek because 1847 names are sacred? It makes no sense. City still won't allow them to access the site despite them having a contractor itching to go build.
Estimated 4-6 month backlog for an evaluation to determine the NEED for remediation through the city/county contractor. That's not if they need remediation, just evaluation.
Plenty of offers on the table for the land despite Newsome promising to stop "speculators". Real mystery.

Needs context. The clean up alone is going to take months and it's a toxic nightmare. Neighborhoods were firebombed like Tokyo a little over a month ago.
