Out on the water most of the day in the boat with friends. People wave as they pass each other and everyone is nice. Dinner at Cedars on the deck with the boat tied up on their dock. Beer, food, friends and good neighbors! Except those wake boat jerks throwing wakes all over.

Banning wake boats and anything over 24 feet would please the Throbber immensely. Then tubers. And rental boats - cocksuckers can’t drive for shit.

The funny part is they wake board on the river for smoother water and fuck up everyone elses smooth water. The rental boats and jet skis are a problem in that they are clueless on where to drive and rules of the water. Had some turd blast through the no wake zone by Cedars in his big cruiser yesterday. That was unusual.
We enjoyed a decent day of beer drinking and floating in our favorite bay on the river anyway.

  2. Cedars? Man talk about an overpriced steakhouse with a salad bar. The vibes are as contemporary as a retirement home. The only true steak in Idaho is wolf lodge (RIP). If you were smart you would have gone tot he sushi place across from the ice cream place anyway.

I don't play golf. I played with my father but that was long ago. A golf course is a waste of a perfectly good rifle range. You want to hawk Japanese queers go ahead. Wolf Lodge sucked. Sorry I know that's sacraledge here but it was not very good and I ate there a fair amount necause guests wanted to go there. Sadly Texas Roadhouse has the best steaks and prime rib in the area. I've eaten at all the steak places for years (carnivore) and I know what's best. I find something better I'll be there.
By the by I ain't your bro Cucky.
 
Wolf Lodge was adequate. It was a cool old authentic lodge kind of place but the food was ok at best. If that’s your vibe, the Snakepit on the north fork is a better option. Or venture into Montana Quinn’s Hot Springs restaurant is next level.

The best meat on the lake is at Latitudes (Carlin Bay) but you best bring your checkbook. It ain’t cheap. The prime rib is massive - three inch thick cow - leftovers for days. The appetizer is a lobster roll that rivals Maine. Desert is a mini iron skillet cookie with carmel and whip cream. Reservation only secured by credit card.

Haven't tried Carlins. Hadn't heard of it! Nice to have another option on the water you can access via boat. I like prime rib once in a while. I am a steak guy most of the time.
Lots of decent looking everyday options though!

Taco Tuesday sounds pretty good. Usually boat weekdays to avoid the total insanity.
