Our main board might need to go into hibernation until July

This is a great point I hadn't thought of before. I have never been into recruiting but always enjoyed the build up to Signing Day. Now it's gone.

Specifically for our fanbase I thought for a good 3-4 year period when Petersen was battling Oregon, Notre Dame, and Stanford there was a ton going on in December/January. Now back with a staff that recruits hard after two entire tenures of shit, it's just go check X on a random Wednesday in December.

Cuog used to have a big signing day event at the casino. Several hundred attended. Went one tim as a guest. Many free drinks.

Friday the coach showed up for an hour at the Swinging Doors bar.

Tims have changed.

Haha he's going to be "down here" on Thursday. I'm guessing it's to get the coug business collective or whatever it's called to donate more NIL.

I know the answer but the offseason question the Super Bowl party I had kicked up in me was would you trade winning outright in 2023 for the 1991 national title? I know the answer for everyone who got to experience 1991 but there's at least some poonts to debate. The real debate to me would be would you trade the undefeated 2023 regular season for a 2000 one and a shot at Oklahoma?

Yeah well, they can ask me what it sounds like today. No, it's not just a blazer thing. If anything it's a better environment at Moda than 90% of the league.

The Sonics shit is all about the grievance. Once the first season finishes out and fans realize what a piece of shit the league is, especially if you have no stars, it's a going to be dead again.

NBA playoffs are great though.

You changed sites a month ago and it's the most off season month of the year now for CFB. LIPO
Switching sounds like it was needed, but that stuff is always annoying. I couldn't log in for awhile, so started visiting less often. Now starting to check back in more.

I also think the Demond thing is going to drag interest down until the season starts. That sucked the wind out of the program.

February is one of the worst months for sports. Spring football hasn't started, only spring training barely getting going, the NFL off-season hasn't started yet, and the only thing really going are the overpaid crybabies in the NBA with guaranteed contracts.

Oh and UW basketball still isn't good.

I told the account rep that called me last week that I was still pissed about the Demond situation and that I'm waiting until summer to think about buying season tickets. I'm not, both kids in sports for the first time so I can't go to many games.

But they definitely should have worked on their messaging anticipating that gripe. Come up with something better than, "Heh...hahaha..well...um...you know 19 year olds 😅"

The wind got sucked out of the program when DeBoer left and it's been fucked ever since.

Meh, it’s the off-season and not enough offseason shit talk.

DJ needs clicks. I get it.

Maybe y’all need to provide more off-season, shit talk, rather than yalls little echo chamber a few of you do, attempting to run folks off that don’t agree with everything some of you puke.

How bout dat??

From DeBoer's exit to Demond's attempted exit, UW is King when it comes to sucking the wind out of the program

Do people get hazed and run off? Yes. But I don't think we're that much of an echo chamber. I just think its a combo of some people leaving because they didn't like some pro-Trump talk in the Tug, combined with interest in the Huskies being as low as I've ever seen it in my lifetime.
