It's not just here Derek. Over at Kim's place the have 4 topics that have been commented on today and one was just posted at 4pm, and the other was about Jedd wishing Amber a Happy Valentines day in her dress from yesterday, and my assumption that is off a base of customers that is 200x here maybe more.

What NIL and year round Open Free agency has done for many fans is like Softy said on the radio. Tell me who is on the team in August, and I will root for them for 4 months until December when it will start all over again.
 
There used to be the only signing day event, and there was drama leading up to it, in February, and now there isn't.

UW roster turnover wasn't even that much this off-season, takes 5 minutes to catch up on but I can see how that's a lot of brain power needed for dawgman doogs.
 
Let's also not use dawgman as some measuring stick anymore, when it probably should be Caple.

This is a great point I hadn't thought of before. I have never been into recruiting but always enjoyed the build up to Signing Day. Now it's gone.

Cuog used to have a big signing day event at the casino. Several hundred attended. Went one tim as a guest. Many free drinks.

Friday the coach showed up for an hour at the Swinging Doors bar.

Tims have changed.
