My oldest is a senior, but when he was in 8th grade several of his classmates were sending their boyfriends NSFW pics of themselves, which their boyfriends then shared with each other. Supposedly the adults only found out because one of the girls was unhappy with the way one of her pics was shopped, and came to a school counselor for help in "getting her pic back" from the internet. Local authorities investigated possible child porn trafficking, as somebody supposedly tried to sell a bunch of the pics. No charges were filed, but a lot of kids got the shit scared out of them.

No, my kid wasn't a part of any of this, but he said at the time that he was aware of it. No, I never saw any of the pics. Yes, I'm glad I don't have daughters. 8th grade.
