1- will Don Baylor have to be put down ala Barbaro?

2- How long until Smoak gets another hit besides a single?
 
I'm for putting Don Baylor down Barbaro-style, but against bagging on Justin Smoak. I'm going full Marinoog on Smoak this year. I think he's finally going to have a good year.
 
I know the game was more or less put away at this point, but I was really impressed with Ackley's AB with the bases loaded in the 9th. He went to the plate with an idea looking for the slider. He didn't panic when he took 2 fastballs knowing that the slider was coming and when it did come, he was all over it.

One of the cool things with young players is when they go from the standpoint of just having raw athletic ability to being able to combine that ability with the mental side of the game.

I'm not convinced that Smoak is there yet, but I'm all in on Ackley finally living up to the hype.

One at bat out of 600+ he will have certainly has proven Ackley is finally living up to the hype. Come on!

I'd be very surprised if he didn't hit over .275 this year.

lol after 2 games. He looks good and cano's presence seems to be positively affecting him but really? 2 games man

Wedge a dumb fuck who basically ruined Ackley. Don't be shocked at all if him and Smoak start hitting now that jackass is gone.
