I think a mid 90s reunion could have been fantastic for VH 1.0. But Yella Iron Law is that all rock starts should die before they get old. 50 to 80 year old men just sound like shit on the mike.
My feelings on it if DLR sang in a bit lower tone/register instead of going into his high "Heyyyyyy Abbott" shtick from Abbott and Costello it would be fine. The musicianship is fine.
I would also want EVH to eat a shit sandwich and apologize for trashing Michael Anthony a few years ago. EVH knows he needs these guys more than they need him. The guitar/amp business must not be as lucrative as one would think, hence the money grab ERRRRR tour. And that is after Michael Anthony signed away his publishing rights away back in '84.
