Oregon Football's Exciting Chances At Undefeated Season

I just think Penn St is a little bit better. Again Oregon lost 8 guys to the NFL and all their leaders. Tez Johnson is a little receiver, everyone in the B1G has a decent back so why do I care about Jordan James.
Yeah Penn St lost to Michigan and OSU I just think due to a bit of a cycle them and Ohio State will be better than Michigan and Oregon, and of course UW.
Did they improve at skill positions? That’s where they were weakest. I remember they almost lost to Indiana because of their lack of weapons on the outside.
I don't think so. I think their big addition was a big, slow overrated former 10-star recruit from Ohio State. They still have the two productive RBs but their per-carry averages were bad last year.
without skill players, they aren’t winning big games. Hell, gun to my head, I’m taking UW over them next year. You need to score to beat Fisch, and Penn St. simply doesn’t to the level needed.

Gabriel at QB is what will ensure they're still good, while also not being good enough at the QB position to win it all.
On paper(I know I know) this is the best defense Oregon has ever had. Penn St has an absolute cheese dick schedule next year.
Also there's no fucking way Oregon goes undefeated next year, even in the RS. @Michigan and vs Ohio St. Yeesh. Then a CCG maybe against Ohio St again? Nah. 3 losses before January is more likely than 1.

Wildcard could be the 5 star backup QB.

He was not remotely decent last year even for true freshman.

Yep

I don't think he's that special but what other QB in college football would you not say that for in 2024? Is Will Howard or Carson Beck or Ewers going to beat him in a due?
They would all beat him in a shootout, but more importantly is that I don't think Gabriel is a dude who will lead the game winning drive down 4 with a minute to go.

If he gets it together between the ears he's a hell of a talent. He took a shit ton of sacks and threw a shit ton of picks. Clearly the game was moving too fast for him, but the physical tools are outstanding.
