I went with Adams because of the height. Adams could overcome it. I thought it really hampered Gabriel from the pocket. Lots of blocked throws. Also could not figure out how to use Traeshon Holden to save his life.
Anyway as I write elsewhere I thought he held Oregon back at times. Not one of the greats IMO. Nothing against the kid. He’s fine. He’d be better if he embraced using his legs more which would cool down the D line a bit. But he gone now.

If Gabriel were 6'4" he'd get drafted regardless of anything else about his game. Being short and not great is a tough combo for the NFL

Definitely limited in what he could do compared to some recent UO QBs and I’m sure his lack of running was due to the coaches. They limited Bo’s legs in his second season here.
Looking forward to a tall righty next year and saying he sucks after his first 2 or 3 games.

As I predicted Nix was looking good by November. I don't like the Broncos or Sean Payton but I have no beef with Nix

I don’t know if he’s going to be a star or not. Seems like it’s a bit of crap shoot no matter who you were in college.

Nix was fun to watch in the couple of times I saw Denver play though.
