Opponent Offense Preview: Portland State Vikings

Looks like UW will be facing another slippery QB they will have difficulty tackling.

(I like to say slippery when describing a running QB. I do that.)
 
Portland State has one of the Van Buren boys at RB. Could spell trouble for UW.

Spiker is going to finally get his revenge on UW. This is where he leaps from reserve at PSU to first round draft pick in one career defining game.
 
PSU has Lincoln University on their schedule coming up. Last year CWU beat Lincoln 92-0. It would have gone well over 100 had the team not thrown extra points out of bounds and taken a knee on at least three series. We? don't need to worry about a team with Lincoln on their schedule. Montana of course is another matter. I don't get why the AD doesn't book any of the plethora of contender FCS teams instead of cannon fodder like PSU.
 
Ty Jones is at least contributing for a good G5 team. The fact that Spiker isn't a starter for an FCS team is crazy
