Turns out suspending the Constitution is dumb. And even the Democrat Sheriff charged with enforcing it thinks it's dumb.
Bernalillo County Sheriff John Allen, a Democrat, said Monday he would not enforce the ban which he called "unconstitutional."
“This order will not do anything to curb gun violence other than punish law abiding citizens from their constitutional right to self defense," Allen said during a news conference.
"It’s unconstitutional. So there’s no way we could enforce that order," he added.

Orange County despite being in Communist California has managed to avoid all kinds of bad policy because of an elected sheriff that actually values the constitution.
This is why they needed the voters to give up their right to vote for sheriff and give it to the King county executive to pick the sheriff.
Who gives up their right to choose their sheriff? Seriously who does that?

The sheriff is the most powerful law enforcement of the land.
