one thing I actually like about Fisch

I hate that he decided he was always going to go for 2 during practice and then in the heat of the moment when you just ran off two drives and Louisville is tired and frustrated you still go bail them out and run your one play that just 1 player has to stop, instead of going into OT and having to stop another Demond drive or two.
Agreed.
I am of the opinion that going for 2 is always wrong in game ending situations.

Hating Losing always »»» than enjoying winning. See Belichik, Bill and Saban, Nick.
My Doog side would say Fisch had built in excuses for losing during the season last year and probably got a little too comfortable with it, but the bowl game is not the same season and maybe he does actually hate it to the degree we want him too.
Urban Meyer same way, and in interview said as much that he hated losing multiple times more than winning, and wins were more of a relief than celebration for him.

I promise you DeBoer was pissed
He should have been more pissed at himself for a distracting interview with Bammer before the big game.
You guys acting like these coaches at the mountain top like this are willing to risk a national championship….anywhere….just so that they can give a better "over the phone interview"…
Just doesn't make sense with how competitive these coaches are, especially the ones that don't lose.
I think most any coach at that level is so arrogant that they think they can do about anything and think it won’t impact their coaching abilities.
