Because they didn't. It had nothing to do with it. It was a performance piece on the Bacchanal of Dionysus. Which has French artwork depicting it in both the Louvre and the Paris Catacombs, so it fits with the theme along with the Greek god references. Also, the fucking Last Supper painting isn't Christian canon. But don't worry, because the perpetually offended Christians won't stop even if they're denied.
