Except Rapp is most of ours favorite recruit of the last few years and he was a three star. A lot of people here had Dom Hampton as a 4/5-star even though he was rated a 3-star. But sure.

Why? And who will? USC, sure.[/b] Alabama as long as Saban is there (their average from 1990-2010 was 13th, FYI). Georgia? Ohio State? ND finished top 5 for 40 straight years and now average in the teens since 2010. Are we destined down this path, destined to destroy ourselves like so many programs before us? Or can we evolve fast enough to change ourselves... change our fate? Is the future truly set?

This gets you Wisconsin success. I used to think like this (along with most of my Utah fan base) and could never figure out why we would start out 6-0, then finish 6-6. You can build a good team by coaching up 0-3 star recruits but you can't build a team that can withstand losing 6-10 starters in November. Case in point, remember that frosh you had playing on the RT side of the line when you played Alabama? One weak link and it's over.

True, but UW has been recruiting far better than UW over the past number of seasons. UW probably will never be able to breakthrough and win a NT with their 3 star talent. We? just might be able to stock pile enough 4 star guys to have a chance.
