Dang, I like UCLA's defense and they way the flew around. Lots of pressure from the DL. Impressive. Cal is of course, struggling, but man did UCLA apply pressure. On offense, they play some smash mouth and Hundley looks to be very difficult to defend.

There's no way we beat ucla @ ucla.

We didn't want a TUFF coach anyway.

I like UCLA and I didn't watch the whole game but when you say smashmouth what are you referring to. They have a horizontal passing game for the most part and their running backs have been getting stuffed for the past two weeks.

I think UCLA has a good team, but I wouldn't call their offense smash mouth either, especially since Jordan James got hurt. They haven't ran the ball very well the past two weeks. I like Stanford this weekend.

Not sure why running up the middle unsuccessfully makes you a smash mouth attack. Hundley is a beast and gets a lot of their rushing yards on scrambles and zone reads. James is not a very physical back either but he is really fast.
Without him the running game has struggled as roaddawg said. I think they are still good enough to beat stanford regardless but LIPO.

I like UCLA to win for this simple reason.

Mora is going to want to prove once and for all how badly UW fucked the pooch by not hiring him after 2007. He is going to want to end whatever little notion that is out there that Sark might be better than him.

Mora's teams are going to be tougher and more energetic than UW. Mora will have his team more ready to play than Sark will.
