How can Stanford even be discussed as a potential darkhorse candidate if things fell right...ahead of Ohio State?

Ohio St won it last year, lost at home to MSU ... who beat Oregon.

after today:

Clemson #1
Bama #2
Oklahoma #3
Michigan St #4

Ohio St #5 ahead of Stanford, UNC (even if they win), Iowa...

Stanford would have a conference championship and Ohio State would be 2nd in the Legends or Leaders or whatever.

Ty Willingham won a PAC 10 championship once which is indicative of how great a coach he was.

Conference championshits don't mean anything.

And in actuality ... the best strategy would be to NOT play in that extra game. How great is it for tOSU to not risk losing again and make it in over Iowa or North Carolina.

The playoff system has actually pussified America's greatest sport.

Pac now talking about 8 conference games, weaker schedules ...

Take it down to four conferences, 8 divisions.

Why not just have everyone play 13 games?

It becomes a disadvantage to win your division if not in the Big12

2 losses against a highly competitive schedule versus 1 loss against a relative cupcake schedule ...

This bored should be better than looking at simply 1 loss vs 2 losses and assuming all things are equal
 
USC's coaching staff is a Drek. USC by far the most talented team in the Pac 12 (UCLA had injuries) Further proof of Pat HaddenFS. Look for USC to be real shitty until Pat HaddenFS is fired. They care less about wining football than UW. Ghost of Babs. Remember this is the same Stanford team the Coogs had on the ropes
