that we? thought the early signing period would serve us so well.

Turns out, everyone is playing urgent recruiter and we are watching a number of the Wayne boys take out ladies out of the club for a little side action.

It will be full tilt irony when we kick the shit out of Penn State (assuming Browning doesn't shite his pants again) and everyone says "Man, Washington is a program to be reckoned with!"...but alas, all the good recruits have signed their contracts with other schools already.

Washington...good acedemis but no street sense.

Oh well, bring on the wicked awesome black and tan uniform combo for 2018-19 that will wow some 3* recruits that would love an Oregon offer.
 
Honestly, I think it is good for us.

We'd get Bruce Wayne'd no matter what. Togiai, Tremblay and Irvin were going to get snatched from us at any point. Kaho and Gordon probably will as well, but Kaho's weird and Gordon's local.

This early signing period is keeping us from having to play MASSIVE defense from Bruce Waynes on guys like Dominique Hampton, Curne, Mele, possibly ZTP and Trey Lowe. Once Bruce Wayne schools see they aren't going to get everyone they want, those are the types of guys they'd be coming after and we don't really have a great way to hang on to any of them.

So, I think it's saving us on a few guys. Hampton, Curne and Mele very specifically.
 
Gordon might be local, but archbishop Murphy kids never go to UW. Not just the football players, literally the entire school goes to private religious colleges.

Abilene Christian has a better shot at Gordon then us.

I don't know why we even have a thread for him with all the things that have happened this month and all the recruits we are going for Gordon is the least likely.

Yeah, one thing you have to realize is that for many kids, especially ones from well-off communities, staying home for college is literally the lamest thing you can do.
 
The early Signing Day by far is a long-term positive for us ... over time I expect the Bruce Wayne’s to eventually start to adjust
