They won't off themselves, because suffer from Battered Coug Syndrome. Blowing leads in the 4th and losing is part of their culture... almost a self-fulfilling prophecy. Even with a huge lead, they (players and fans alike) will brace themselves for what is to come in the 4th quarter.

It would take a miracle to break the jinx. Actually, it would take a competent coach whose play-calling is not a complete shitshow... one who sticks to fundamentals, like having an effective running game for starters.
 
WSU boreds are fantastic. Someone started a thread about how they were so close to landing Kevin Sumlin in 2008, and instead decided on Paul Wulff. Oooook!

But a running game would kill the clock too easily. Leach is the perfect coach fit for coogin it.
