I suppose Michigan might have an outside chance of punching their ticket with a win over Ohio State for a fourth Big Ten bid. Only scenario I can imagine the Big gets more than 3 teams. Admittedly, I’m not dialed into the playoff scenarios like a few here. 70 within a couple months.

However, if Michigan loses next week, Oregon is unequivocally 3rd in the B1G regardless of the UW game. I was told it's impossible for the B1G to only get 2 teams. If true, Oregon is in with a Michigan loss.

Oregan with one of their more average teams recently would absolutely throttle all the undeserving Big 12 and ACC teams. Utah, BYU and Texas Tech are ranked in the top 12ish by the playoff committee which is absolute horse shit if you look at their schedules which I have. I’d love to be wrong with a UW win next week but I won’t be.
Oregon’s only loss would be to 2nd ranked Indiana and losing a rivalry game in Seattle at 10-1 where UW has only lost one game in 3+ seasons. The committee won’t penalize the zeros that severely imo finishing 10-2. There is no way they put in 5 SEC teams and leave out a 10-2 third place team in a power 2 conference.
