OFFICIAL Washington vs. Rutgers Game Thread

wait until y’all see how Miami was bailed out. Criminal.
That was one of the closest plays I've ever seen. I think we've got a two wrongs making a right scenario. They shouldn't have overturned it but it shouldn't have been called a TD in the first place. I dunno.

I’m mad that Rutgers gets to pretend they just beat a good team. Local media will chalk it up as a bad night for Gross, but this is the most poorly coached team I have ever seen. This is not an untalented team. Gilby and Willingham would have won this game with this team. There is no coming back.

There has to be clear conclusive evidence to overturn a call on the field.

And unfortunately that doesn’t happen anymore. Replay needs to die. And if that happens and you think that you got beat by one bad call. You need to rewatch your game. And then you’ll realize that you had 5-10 other chances to win that game.

It needs to go. At this point it’s become a bail out for the $$$ schools.

They perhaps need get rid of the stipulation around overturning calls. Just get the call right, fuck what it was called on the field. I know they'll fuck that up too. But they clearly had no fucking idea if it was TD or not when it was initially ruled as such.

But this is on Will Rogers.
Rogers is the symptom not the cause

I'm making fun of the morons shitting on him when he's one of the lone bright spots.
not bright enough
fisch playcalling and random demond subs don't help either but even then, i don't trust him to win us a game like this

At well over 9 YPA. He is the opposite of a problem.

This reminds me of half the games last year in terms of talent disparity vs. score on the scoreboard, except last year's team had way more talent to overcome the retardedness. It was winning close games that should have been blowouts instead of losing games that should have been wins.

I'm so fucking tired of watching a team that pisses me off that I'm starting to think it would be be better to follow a bottom dweller that loses because they're supposed to.
Any open seats on the Central train, @AOG ?
Tickets tomorrow are $15 at gate in eburg but Central is no bottom dweller. Was in the top 10 when season started, now ranked #21. There are a vast number of D2 teams so ranking in the top 25 is as prestigious at D2 level as #21 in FBS given vastly less money. Central wins tomorrow unless they come out expecting the crowd to win it.

How long do I have to wait before it’s socially acceptable to start bumping the Fisch hot take threads from when he was hired?
just because we liked the hire at the time doesn’t mean we can’t wish he would DIAFF after losing to fucking Rutgers
