OFFICIAL Washington vs Oregon Game Thread 2023

We? couldn’t tackle a silk sheet if we had a hot date with a babe. . . I lost my train of thought.

What's up with you fags and the Seinfeld references? While the cool crowd was out banging beaver at parties on campus, you maroons were safe at home with your other cuntless friends watching and memorizing lines from Seinfeld on thursday nights (then recite them the next day after class with same said friends). Then after everybody went home, you'd crank up an episode of "friends" when nobody was watching. You know who you are. You still post stupid little Seinfeld youtube clips here every thread. Get over it already. No wonder you chimps are 40 and still single.

It’s almost like you have crystal ball looking at my life!

Fun fandom highlight of the game...

Captain Husky led the chant and at the end... put up the double birds and screamed "FUCK OREGON!"

It was a nice touch to the usual tradition.

I don't super have a problem with any of the 4th downs. Execute one of them, win the game.

This. Same as last year. I really can’t fault Lanning for the decisions. I’d want DeBoer to make the same decision. It comes down to execution.

Get under fucking center and shove it up the fucking middle!!!

Bird in the Hand.

Danny follows that rule and the last uw TD is meaningless w/o recovering a OS kick.

I admire Lansing's aggressiveness in a way, but at times it turns into stupidity

The success they had against our defense, it's hard to argue against those decisions. Our defense stepped up and made them pay, though.

I thought the ones near the goal line were okay. I don't know about going for it on 4th and 5 late in the game, near mid field. 4th and 1, sure

Eh, punt there and UW just goes down the field and scores a TD from 85 yards instead of 50. The only way Oregon wins that game is by running out the clock.

That's all it is. There were 6 fourth down attempts in this game. UW was 5-1.

uw had scored 7 points the entire second half up to that point. Your logic is flawed. Operating from the 50 is much easier than inside your own 15. I like Oregon’s chances much better than a gamble at the 50 on 4th down.

In all fairness, talking about the D and bad tackling and imo, just out physicalled, from what I saw, the Husky D made the plays when they needed to. They stopped the Ducks in the red zone on 4th down twice and made Lanning make bad decisions to possibly leave 6 points on the field. And made a crucial stop to give our Penis one more chance and he made good. May not have been the best effort for 4 quarters and dealing with a lack of depth, but they made the plays on defense when it counted. And that counts.

Counterpoont, Washington had zero timouts and Penix was hurt.

To be clear I think they should have punted there, but it was one play. The defense *could* have stood up and made a stop, but they didn't.

Too bad Lanning wasn’t paying attention to that fact.
