OFFICIAL Washington vs Maryland Game Thread

One thing I'll say is this is a very different defense with Manu leading it at linebacker. Night and day.
When asked about playing more games, Manu responded:
"I don't know yet. That's something I have to talk to coach Fisch about."
As @BroadcastingDawg noted, the defense is night and day different when Manu's on the field. He's the surest tackler on the team, he hits hard. He's a leader.

My question is why are they asking him if he's going to play more games? He missed 3 games where he wasn't needed. What am I missing here?
So he can redshirt, make more NIL money, put more tape out for the NFL.
Alexander has looked good too. Play Manu against Michigan and Oregon then redshirt him IMO. Shouldn't need him against the Buttgers of the world
I hate not having Manu on the field. He is probably the best player on the entire defense.

All the LB’s have played well this year. None of them are a liability.
Agreed. Except I am fairly certain that the decision, to red shirt him, has already been made. If not, Jedd should be charged with negligence.

Fisch didn’t have the team ready from the jump. Best possible outcome of the season he somehow only drops one more game (impossible) and smoke and mirrors his way to getting Florida interested. We need an SC bailout from Florida.
well considering Washington is the 9th team out of like 40 to win a game traveling 3 time zones, not bad I think soft had that stat pregame
The math shows that the long airplane rides really messes with players, NFL too.
Big Ten teams vs spread when crossing multiple time zones (conference games only):

2024: 8-17-1
2025: 3-6

total: 11-23-1 (32.4%)

but what do I know
