OFFICIAL Washington vs. Illinois Game Thread

DeBoer cooking up a loss to a team with a losing record on the road.
Washington winning.

Tough week for some on here. Retards
I’m still not sure on Fisch as a long term solution but 6-2 with losses to Ohio state and at Michigan is not fire the coach territory in year 2 based on what he inherited.

DeBoer definitely spots portal talent, our ex TE just caught the 2 point conversion to tie up the Cock game. My bad @bananasnblondes

The pass rush definitely was better in the 2nd half.
I have to hand it to Fisch, the team needed a win badly here and he got it done. This is his first win against a ranked team since Oct of 2024.
Now they get a bye and a chance to get as healthy as they've been since Week 1.
Rashid Williams should be back too.
I thought Elinneus Davis and Jacob Lane looked the best on the DL, along with #11. All almost got sacks. Need to use the budget to get a good DT to pair with Davis next year and a very good Edge to pair with Lane.

Just reading Fisch's body language and eyes when he gets interviewed, I think he plans to bail in year 3-5.
He's here "temporarily".

That Demond 1st down run on 3rd and 18 where he trucked 2 Illini and spun a couple tims after was outstanding.

I mean UW is likely to be 9-2 heading into the home game against Oregon.

Not convinced we can beat them… but 10-2 with wins over ILL and Oregon and losses to no. 1 and another team that will likely finish the season ranked… don't say UW won't sneak in there as the 12 seed.
And then I watch Oregon play like they are doing today and ask why not?

I would love to pay good money for a big time edge and take a couple fliers on edge guys that have produced at lower levels for next year. I also think they move Alexander to edge since we will have 3-4 good ILB’s. He was practicing there earlier in the year.
