Going into the 2024 season and somewhat into 2025 (the new rules started July 1st), it was the wild west and money was flowing like a cabs that drink like merlots.
For instance, after July 1st, Oregon lost multiple 4 star recruits because the promises of rich NIL deals were no longer deliverable. They lost Kodi Greene to UW, a DT or two to USC, and maybe another guy.

I don't think you understand the "rules". This ruling forced universities to pay at least $22M to all student athletes, collectively. Any additional $$ that is NIL counts as fair market value. Good luck.
