Penix is nowhere near NFL ready;
His deep ball accuracy isn't great, his athleticism is way less than a guy like DTR, I haven't seen him read intermediate routes or consistently hit short slants or curls against the teeth of a defense.
He doesn't look all that different/better than former hiesman candidate Teeth Price (ILTCHT) when he was a sophomore before his injury.
Not that any of that matters in the modern NFL and the draft anymore or players staying vs leaving.
