OFFICIAL Washington-Stanford Game Thread

Some weird plays by Jon Don but overall I thought the play calling wasn't terrible. A lot of drops and bad throws but guys were getting open. The defense was putrid this game and the blame needs to be on Lake/Kwat.
 
D was horrible. Coaching was horrible. Special teams was horrible. Offense sorta got their shit together but the first half was bad. Just a very shitty day. Jimmy sucked hard in this game
 
Still need to beat Oregon and USC. Season is not over.

But there are some worrying trends and having this happen to Stanford routinely is embarrassing

They now lead the alltime series.......

This is one of your shittier takes, which is saying something. The offense put up 26 points in a game where the defense let Stanford completely dominate the TOP once again. There's to plenty to criticize with this offense, and the abortion of a run game makes me fairly certain that Jon Don sucks.

But this defense was another level of pathetic. 10-12 on third down against a team that has no rhythm throwing the ball with far inferior athletes is inexcusable. So is giving up 200 rushing yards to a team with an average OL, at best. Kill them all. And every time Stanford is scheduled from here on out we just lock Kwat in Joe Biden's basement and let some disabled fan call the defense for that week.
 
This team has too many problems that will not be fixed until UW hires proven teir 1 head coach that comes in and takes over all aspects of the program just like Pete did but better.

Like Urban Meyer when he left Ohio State. He left such a presence that even scrub ass Ryan day is just riding the coat tales. Pete left and UW still sucks.

Small complaints about the offense. Defense was terrible. We got pushed around and made one clutch defensive play the whole game.

They scored 3 points in the first half against an awful defense, it was a failure at all levels.

Morris was fine

The RBs are mostly JAGish but their useage is determined by an austic kid throwing darts at a board

The OL is good in pass protection but way below average in run blocking... Significantly overrated

The WRs caught more than they dropped... I guess?

Everyone on the defense sucked... It was a lot about the scheme and obvious coaching mistakes like putting Sirmon in man coverage outside or putting in Smalls against the Run. Molden is the only guy I like... All the rest are varying degrees of pussy trying to finesse their way around a football game. Asa is basically playing with 10. Lake would play his same defense and get his shit pushed in against a service academy.

Stanford has the 3rd worst defense in the conference and we only put up 3 points in the first half? Gtfo dude. Step on their throat from the jump and stop running lead dive into stacked boxes.
