How many NFL players does Pete K need to stop EWU? Obviously 5 isn't enough.

Shelton- 1st rd grade
Peters- 1st rd grade
Thompson- 1st-2nd rd grade
Kikaha- 2nd-3rd rd grade
Timu- 4th-5th rd grade

Beavers, Kelly, Baker, Hale, Qualls, Mathis, and King were Army or Semper Fi All-Americans

At least Holt didn't have this talent.

Those are generous draft grades, but that's why I'm having a hard time believing the defense is this bad. Fucking dreckfest.
 
I don't really know what to think. You can't unsee this first half, no matter what happens here on out. Our D is a total shitshow. The issue isn't talent. That leaves coaching.

I'm going with scheme, you had one on one on a couple of those tds with the freshmen dbs.
 
I think that part of the issue might be that Peterman is still getting his players fit into his system and what he's trying to do. Or he might suck. Losing to EWU would indicate the latter.

Point is valid though. Our talent is so far beyond theirs it's laughable, but our execution isn't.
