UW will never be given respect. They need to go take it. Oregon and USC can fail upward. If USC wins or Oregon do the media loves it. When UW would win under Peterman. All they would talk about would be cupcake schedules and trick plays. Jimmy needs to get away from that by fucken murdering all opponents. Not letting them come back 27 points in 1 quarter.

lol exactly i thought i was being whooshed. i was raging too but it’s the opposite of a big deal. we crushed them, avoided injuries, and have plenty of teachable issues.
 
You put the starters back in to make a point after the second touchdown. Giving up that much in garbage time is unacceptable. This is Washington. It's not Cal, Oregon State, or other loser programs. Did it taint the win? Nope, not really, but you're not going to be great if you tolerate that. Don James never would in a million years.

Morris looks legit. He needs to work on the deep ball, but his deep throws were pretty solid after the first quarter. After seeing a few snaps of Sirmon I don’t think there will be any QB controversy this year. The DDY crew is right once again.

Can you imagine putting the starters back in during a blowout and having someone like uh Molden get injured? Some pretty disappointing takes in the latter part of this thread.
 
Our freshman got time against a #1 offense and got humbled. Gives them film and things to work on. I wish they'd been dominant, but taking some lumps will help those that want to get better.

I've been waiting to see if Irvin is any good. Even Alabama wanted him. Too bad if he sucks, but plenty of depth behind him.

Bottom line:

Morris came through.
Wide receivers didn't.
Defense was doing work. They shut it fucken down.
Special teams were garbage as usual. What the fuck does Gregory have on Jimmy that he allows him to contaminate this team?
Gave up too many points at the end.

USC should lose to Utah but will find a way to win on pure talent and zero coaching. Fucken fire everyone at USC.

I don't think UW will be ranked this week. Hope I'm wrong.
