How about when blink 182s main singer was the one dude and not the emo guy.

They had like 2 albums afterward and no one cared

Plenty of better emo bands

I went to school with Tom DeLonge (apparently) and I couldn’t tell you the name of one of their songs.

They were like the biggest thing for 5 or so years if you were my age.

I was still in college when they were big but I don’t remember any of my frens being into them at all. Maybe they were teenybopper punk for HS kids.
