OFFICIAL: Stanford Beats UCLA, Wins North Game Thread

How did Stanford only score 6 points against Northwestern? Their offense is loaded. Best all around RB in the conference, best OL, pretty good WR's, a very good TE, and a veteran QB. I know David Shaw is the answer. It's just a fucking shame because Stanford is the only Pac 12 team that could have gotten this conference some respect.

If a helmet hits another helmet, that's targeting. This rule should probably be enforced 20x+/game, if the refs want to be consistent.

God forbid our safety devices touch in a contact sport.

Not even soccer is that pussified. No yellow cards for touching shinguards.

They weaponize the body by adding hard plastic to it, then penalize you for using it as a weapon whenever it touches anything.

Great play. Stanford is hitting its stride just in time to get a mini bye week against us. Any momentum created by the Oregon win will be obliterated...or Pete is who we hope and we take control of the north (this isn't happening).

Just flag late hits and spearing. If it's incidental, so fucking what? Do they really think that bullshit is going to show up in some civil suit in 20 years? It's a dangerous game. I think everyone understands that.
