Race Bannon had an analogy years ago on the podcast that I think about from tim-to-tim. He said that when cell phones came out, they kept making annual improvements to them until they became great. But the need to keep adding features to it reaches a tipping point and suddenly there's too much stuff and complexity and it loses the essence of what made it great.

NFL playoffs is where all the bullshit goes out the window and I'll watch that even though I don't care about any of the teams.
