Every time I kept watching, Texas scored, and every time I wandered away from the TV, Oklahoma rallied. So I steered clear for much of the second half.
At 28 to 7 I was thinking how sweet the collapse would be

It's not like you to intentionally misquote me. I never said or thought that Oklahoma was going 7-5. I said it was a dominating performance by Texas in the first quarter (it was), and I said Oklahoma looked like a 7-5 team (they did).
Going into the game I thought Texas would win by 3-7 points because I figured Oklahoma was a top 15 team but not a #6 ranked team. When Texas went ahead 28-7, I thought that there was a 20% chance that Oklahoma could come back to win, and 80% chance that Sark would finally get a signature win. I stopped watching in the second half and Googled updates because for some strange reason I felt like I was jinxing Oklahoma's chances to come back. That's all there is to it.

Riley's a good offensive coach. He doesn't GAF about defense but it's 2021 so you can get by until the playoffs.
