OFFICIAL March Madness Thread

Looking forward to the Eastern game - will be down in Portland for the evening session tonight. 2 of the better games of the day.

Really like the Valpo call over Maryland. I have both Buffalo and Valpo winning against 2 overrated teams - West Virginia more or less beat up on the underbelly of the Big 12 ... any team that shoots the ball at 41% is a ripe candidate for an upset IMO.

Fuck all the haters this is the best tournament on the planet. And no don't say Stanley cup or World Cup this is fucking America damn it.

Eastern covers the 8 vs Georgetown
Valpo over Maryland

Zona wins the whole fucking thing.

It's not the late 80s and 90s. It's just not what it was. Some of the games in the first two rounds are kind of decent. Though I'll get burned out by Sunday night.

I'll watch some of the next rounds but it usually becomes a situation where I'll do something else and then tune in when I think the last five minutes will be.

I remember watching the final four or five years ago. It was Duke and some mid major trash team like Butler or Davidson or something. NOC about mid majors when it comes down to it. It's entertainment. You need stars (not one and dones) so people can follow a team year after year and you need scoring. They have neither. They're simply milking the interest casual fag fans have over their pool and possibly their team instead of addressing how to make the game better.

UCLA ending

March Madness never fails to deliver. The only thing college basketball does right. Of course they want to expand it and ruin a perfect thing.

Did we win yet? I'm pumped that we're going to be national football and basketball champs in 2015.

New scheme new attitude. The players are talking about the difference between Romar 15-16 and Romar 14-15

Just shitty basketball.

UAB vs. Gonzaga in S16 likely.

Gonzaga is going to have a road to the elite 8 similar to Oregon's during the Aaron Brooks year where every team the played was a double-digit seed

Actually oregon played UNLV in the sweet 16. I think they were a 7 seed

This is the greatest event in sports. Better than the Superb Owl. Better than opening weekend in CFB (barely, years of losing did this).
