Father Boozer also gagged a championship game in the tournament IIRC. Had an easy put-back tip for the win and he chose to come down with the rebound and when he went back up he either missed or it was blocked. I can't remember exactly, I just remember K was pissed.
Way to go chicks. Women's Final 4 all number 1 seeds.

At least UCLA shows that the west coast travel is a bullshit excuse for men's bball. They won the B1G, now they're final 4.
Meh. Not a good comp at all. The women's game is not nearly as deep in terms of the elite level talent which is why the 1 seeds make it back to the Final 4 year after year.
People forget I'm the NCAA Women's Hoops superiority guy of this board.
There are maybe two women's players in all of college basketball who could start on a typical white boy high school team. I'm probably overestimating this number by two. The drop-off from tier 1 to tier 2 WCBB talent is massive.
Mrs Snow hates is when I tell her that I could dunk and she (6'2") could not. I think there are some terrific athletes in the women's game, but yeah, the biological differences are profound.
In other news, my PR on a Concept II Rowing Machine for 2K is still better than the current women's world record (by a UW alumnus) by a healthy margin.
One of the Throbbers two dad coached girls basketball when Throbber was a youngster. Young 6th grade Throbber would school the 12th grade girls. Like the Iceman finger rolling and dropping buckets. It wasn’t even a contest.
Fast forward four decades and the local high school had a WNBA player as an alum. The high school coach would invite her into runs with the boys. She NEVER set foot on the court. She’d have been squashed and never got a shot off.
UCLA isn't a historical final 4 team. They had a great team last year, but they aren't UConn or S. Carolina.
Wasn't UW's women's team top 4 in the B1G? Oregon made the tournament, too.
All I'm saying is that the travel argument seems overplayed when west coast women's teams that didn't dominate the P12 are all thriving in the B1G.
