See, that's the thing. Just because something is bad for you in excess, that doesn't mean it's bad for you in any amount. Yet, people constantly pretend it is. Mercury amalgams and thimerosal in vaccines are no more harmful than a couple cans of sardines, but there's no money in lobbying against sardines. Dirty air and water are a much bigger threat to your health than red #40 - how come RFK isn't addressing that? It's because he's being a dipshit and banging his drums about stupid shit like artificial colors and EMF while air and water get dirtier and they bring back asbestos. Brilliant.
Food coloring made from petroleum which is known to be a carcinogen and has negative impacts on the brain seems like a worthy cause, particularly given it's low-hanging fruit to deal with. Gotta start somewhere and this is part of what the movement wants done.
