Jammer's point was that we only paid higher than the current price for a few months, not years like some in here were claiming. Big Ern brought receipts and showed it was 5 months.

The price you're paying for Washington premium gas is not a relevant argument. It's all relative. I'm assuming Washington premium was also only higher than its current price for 5 months in 2022.

Only in the Tug can a global increase in gas prices be dismissed because reeeeeeee, Washington state gas taxes were making them pay extra already!

My gas was $3.25 two months ago. It's $5 now. Same gas taxes.

And if Trump wasn't President, Iran would at a minimum be on the cusp of nukes (used cusp instead of imminent because) or have nukes and the dems would as usual do nothing because doing something might start World War III or raise gas prices which dems are adamantly opposed to except in blue states or the US when they are in charge. Geezus.
